Spring Budget 2023
On 15th March 2023 the chancellor, Jeremy Hunt, announced his plans for the economy by unveiling his Spring Budget. Amongst those plans, Mr Hunt has promised to boost pensions as well as expanding free childcare.
Some of the key points include:
- Pension lifetime allowance abolished
- Annual allowance for pension contributions increased
- 30 hours free childcare for all under 5’s by September 2025
- A 3 month extension of the energy price guarantee
